This micro-lot coffee comes from the Cauca region in Colombia. It is produced by the Asorcafe co-op. Asorcafe began 10 years ago with the mission to better their marketing and pricing of their coffee in the global market. This coffee was sold for a higher premium than most coffees that come from Colombia due to its quality. The co-op is doing everything they can to stand out by taking extra care during the entire harvest process. This is a great coffee that you can put into a thermos or mug and drink throughout the day. It isn't very complex but has a nice sweetness and body to it. You'll get notes of toffee, raisin, brown sugar and fig.
